So this is a somewhat old template, and I'm looking for comments. I want to revamp it, so I'll need some help.

The buttons on the left look a little nubbish when compared to the rest of the template.

too much text, maybe break up the latest new section. Maybe add in a login area, news letter section, latest forum posts? idk lol

the "latst news" red band looks good so i think you should use those colours instead of the bright red.
