Ibuy, is probably the first place i'd go...Its really good...

And anyone who would buy an overpriced Alienware over building one is definetly crazy.

i am torn between buying a laptop there or from m-tech laptops. i hear mtech has great laptops but there site is kinda ghetto and i didnt hear of them before i started shoping. ibuypower has an impresive site and prices but ive read reviews and it seems like they have horrible customer service. but lucky me i dont have to make a dicesion till the summer.

Personally I would just build my own computer since I can, and save a couple hundred dollars (or a couple thousand in Aleinwarez's case  )

I build my own , but I have to say Alienwares are built with no performance bottlenecks.
You really need to know your stuff to build like that.
