what backgrounds are you talking about? If it's the ones in peoples sigs then your posting in the wrong forum and they use filters in photoshop to make them

Hmm yeh well Ive got the same prob... on g-t.com they dont have alot of good bg's... so what I'm doing is filter-render-clouds and sometimes few more filters, then take the gradient tool and adding cool effects in it( just play with it from right to left, up and down).. then ofcourse HueSaturation and the other stuff ( borders etc. )...r

yeah but to know what filters you should use you should first do some tuts, so that you will have an idea of the outcome.

yah u right on any case u need to know a bit tuts, but after u do, its a piece of cake.
